I recently had the opportunity to review the Hearts for Hearts Girls Dolls. I recieved 2 Dolls.
                                               Dell from USA

Each doll from the Hearts for Hearts Collection has her own unique story.

Dell comes dressed in a summery floral top of corals and pinks, and frayed jean cut-offs of real denim.

Accessories include:
Camouflage baseball cap
Suede choker with enamel-like butterfly pendant
Bright bangle bracelets
Silvery flower dangle earrings
Slip-on polka-dot distressed tennis shoes
Doll-sized hair comb with hair elastic
Girl-sized H4HG power bracelet
Beautiful mini storybook about Dell’s life

    Consuelo from Mexico

Consuelo comes dressed in a ruffled, lace-trimmed turquoise skirt and a lime-green blouse with lively floral embroidery on the collar.

Accessories include:
Silvery hoop earrings strung with bright beads
Color-coordinated bangle bracelets
Festive hot pink flower head band.
Bright pink shoes with silky ribbon ties
Doll-sized hair comb with hair elastic
Girl-sized H4HG power bracelet
Beautiful mini storybook about Consuelo’s life

My kit also came with 20 Hearts for Hearts Girls bracelets, Hearts for Hearts Girls coupons, and Recipe and Game Ideas.

The girls absolutely loved the party we had when we received our dolls. We tried some of the recipes and their favorite was the Ethiopian Party Punch and the Laotian Banana Rice Pudding. They did a Mexican Hat Relay and they created a passport just like the dolls have! I explained to them how different cultures do different things and they were quiet amazed by how people in different countries did things.

During the party we raffled off one of the dolls. My daughter chose to keep Dell and we raffled off Consuelo. My 6 year old niece got her and adores her! (She has since started wearing her hair like Consuelo)

Hearts for Hearts Girls Dolls sell for approximately $27.99 and can be purchased online  or at select retailers and for every doll that is sold, a donation for needy girls is made.

I was selected to be a MommyParties host as part of a promotional program with MomSelect. All opinions are my own.

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
