Van's Natural Foods Review

Thank You to Van's Natural Foods for providing me with their product free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

I received a very generous package from Van's that included their Nacho, Nacho, Man Multi-grain chips, Mighty Good BBQ Multi-Grain Chips, PB&J Blueberry and Peanut Butter Sandwich Bars and PB&J Strawberry and Peanut Butter Sandwich Bars, ALL Gluten Free to base my review. The package also came with a cute little glass plate and several free product coupons to try out their other products.

Van’s Multigrain Chips (MSRP: $3.29-$3.49) in Nacho, Nacho, Man! and Mighty Good BBQ! are loaded with 18 grams of whole grains and just 130 calories per serving. Made with gluten-free oats, brown rice, millet, quinoa and amaranth, Van’s Multigrain Chips are crispy, crunchy and bursting with flavor. These guilt-free treats keep it real, containing no high fructose corn syrup, artificial ingredients, hydrogenated oils or GMO oils, and they’re great for dipping or enjoying right out of the bag. 15 chips/130 calories.
· Van’s PB&J Sandwich Bars (MSRP: $3.99 - $4.49), a delicious, classic blend of real peanut butter and fruit jelly, sandwiched between two whole grain, gluten-free bars. This sweet, chewy delight, available in Blueberry and Strawberry, is perfect for a quick, healthy breakfast, lunchtime treat, snack or dessert featuring 10 grams of whole grains. 1bar/160 calories.
· Van’s Love Your Heart Waffles (MSRP: $3.49). These Non-GMO Project-certified waffles feature 1 gram of heart-healthy soluble fiber, 34 grams of whole grains and is made from a mix of whole grains including whole wheat, barley, oats and more. Warm, yummy and deliciously heart healthy—talk about a loving way to start the day.

It was difficult keeping all of the hands out of the box once it arrived. The kids were most excited to try out the PB&J Bars! They are good, healthy snacks that I feel good about sending them out the door with for school and according to them, much better than the previous bars I was purchasing for them. They literally lasted less than a minute on the plate!

I was excited to try the Multi-Grain chips. While working I have a bad habit of munching throughout the day so it was nice to have a nice healthy snack to munch on.

Here is a little information about Van's from their site:

"You may not know it, but Van’s has been cooking up tasty, good-for-you waffles for almost a half century. It all started back in the 1970s at the original Van’s restaurant. It was there, inspired by our California beachside roots, that we first dished up whole grain and gluten free hot ’n toasty waffles. By the late 1980s, we decided it was time to bring our tasty waffles to a whole new group of customers – right in their local grocery stores." To read more, visit their About Us section on their website.

Van's has many different products to choose from. They have a great breakfast variety that includes Pancakes, Cereal and French Toast sticks! What a great way to start your day than with a delicious healthy breakfast.

They also have a very nice blog where you can get recipes, organization tips and more so be sure to check them out! Overall, I am completely satisfied with Van's products and WILL be a return customer!

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
