With that being said I have hit the web to do my research about ticks! My kids stay at the pond fishing and everyday they come back we go through an excruciating ritual. Come on, strip down to underwear, I check them all over, then send them to the shower to check the "other" areas. I then throw all the clothes in a hot wash. But I really hadn't done much to prevent them until now. Of course we can't prevent them all, but there are steps we can take to reduce the amount of ticks that actually inbed in the skin such as tucking their pants into their socks, having them wear light colored clothing, long sleeves and jeans, etc. I have found a very useful page for everything else we would need to know that is tick related. How do you guys plan for summer? The first thing on my mind is sleeping in! And of course we all have vacation ideas going through our heads! But one of the biggest things for me is planning a grocery list! My bill goes through the roof in the summer with 4 teens/pre-teens (3 boys on top of that!)  Some things I have started doing is separating chips, crackers, etc into snack sized bags and putting them into a big shoe box. I've noticed things last longer that way vs letting them take the box. I also try to keep a pot of beans in the fridge. My kids LOVE beans and cornbread so that's always a good thing for me to keep on hand, not to mention the Ramen Noodles! Please tell me those are a life saver for you guys too?! But I also save more leftovers now. Chili, spaghetti, soups and things of that nature gets frozen in a big bowl. The typical meat and 3's get saved into the pre-portioned trays and frozen so they can treat it as a tv dinner later on. Oh and don't tell my kid...

So every night, I jump in lather up and start washing the top half of my body, after washing my feet last the night before. Kinda gross when you think about it huh. I like to play around with all of my pictures. I like to add borders, faces, etc. So I was in luck (and overjoyed) when I was approved to review this product! I can convert images to other formats, re-side, rotate, crop, etc. You even have the option to re-size it for a particular app! (Ex: Facebook, I-Pod, I-Pad, Android, etc) That really takes alot of the guesswork out when updating your cover photo for the new timeline! With the hot weather really gearing up here in TN, the fleas are starting to multiply. With 6 dogs I need something inexpensive to use a few times a week in addition to their baths. A few years back when fleas were worse than I had EVER seen, I starting searching the web for remedies! I found a few that seem to work but they must be used a few times a week. Since fleas hate the smell of vinegar I take a NEW spray bottle (as I don't want to re-use an old cleaning bottle for this) and mix 1/2  white vinegar and half water, and spray it on my dogs every 2-3 days. I also mop my floors with vinegar, and spray under my couch cushions etc. Another thing I use is lemon water. At night before bed I boil a large pot of water. When it gets to a boil a cut a few lemons in it and let it steep overnight. The next morning, i squeeze the juice out and pour into a clean spray bottle and spray the animals with this, and anything left over, I will pour it into my mop bucket and mop with it as well. I...

How about an Iced Coffee later? Simply pour any leftover coffee into a pitcher and stick it in the fridge. If you use sugar, it's better to go on and sweeten it while it's still warm b/c sugar dissolves better in a hot liquid. When your ready for it, pour it in your favorite cup, over ice, add your flavorings and stir!
