Cook'n Recipe Organizer Product Review

Cook'n Recipe Organizer

The company known as DVO has recently given me the opportunity to review their product Cook’n – Recipe Organizer. The system runs on your own PC with an interface that is similar to Google. The following is what the product describes itself as on their webpage:

"Find the Best Recipes on the Internet
Capture and Save Internet Recipes
Enter Your Own Personal Recipes
Sync Recipes with iPhone, iPad, & Android
Print a Family Cookbook
Analyze Nutritional Values
Make Menus, Shopping Lists & More!
Get Free Cookbook with Purchase”

Now, for those of you that know me, you know I can throw down in the kitchen, however I am somewhat un-organized when it comes to my recipes. I have them written here and there and everywhere else, (wherever that may be). So I was delighted when chosen for this review opportunity.

When you first sign into the Cook'n Software you can immediately start a search for recipes within the program, and let me tell you, there are some delicious ones in there! But what's better, is that once you get the recipes pulled up, you can adjust serving sizes for better accuracy. That means a lot to me because I am always cooking for MANY people at one time and I don't like trying to "guestimate" when doubling or tripling a recipe. (Oh and did I mention the shopping list is also a GREAT plus).  You can also add your very own personal recipes, which for me, means ORGANIZATION! Yay! Maybe now I can get rid of some of these spiral notebooks that have seen their better days!
The program itself comes with one recipe book loaded with over 500 recipes but you do have the option of purchasing more at a very reasonable price. As of yet I have not experienced any cons with this product. Oh and did I mention that this company really stands behind their product! They offer a Risk Free, Money Back 200% Guarantee! WOW!

System Requirements to Download this software are as follows:

8 MB RAM
395MB Hard disk space
2x CD-ROM drive
Windows 7/Vista/XP/NT/2000/ME/Windows 98
Compatible with 16, 32, and 64 bit systems.

I hope you all will check it out and enjoy it as much as I am!
You can visit them on Facebook by clicking HERE. Don't miss out on this one because there are recipe exchanges AND giveaways!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
