Stickers.com Giveaway Ends 11~13

Down South Savings has teamed up with 2 of your favorite bloggers to bring you this giveaway. I love these things!! Review written by Adventures of a Midlife Mommy.

When I was a kid I was the one who always had the crazy, pink, spikey hair, or I would be the kid wearing the off the wall clothes that made little to no fashion sense at all... and I loved it. Maybe it was the attention, maybe it was just that I liked to stand out from the crowd, maybe a bit of both. I loved feeling like I was expressing myself, in my own way.

Luckily, I'm not into pink hair anymore (maybe a little accent piece here and there, but no whole head, Strawberry Shortcake looking hot mess crap), but I'm definitely still into expressing my creative side, I'm just a bit more moderate with how I do it. That's why I was so excited when I got the opportunity to check out some really cute, car window decals from Family Stickers.com.

It was so much fun picking out and personalizing all of our family members, they have tons of choices, both in color and traditional white. You can choose each member's body type, facial type, hair (or lack thereof), clothes, interests and lots of other cool combinations.

I think ours turned out perfect! All the characters are so spot on, I've had several compliments on my decal so far. Dad has his goatee and bald head, Mom has her signature ponytail and "I'm With <--" T shirt, (Stupid wasn't available, trust me I looked... several times), Steven has his fauxhawk and ipod, Kaylee has her cute little sassy do and shopping bags (totally her) and Baby Micah has little romper on... so cute!

I had zero trouble applying this sticker to my car window. I followed the simple instructions that came in the package and it went on perfect! It was as simple as prepping the window (washing it), pulling the backing off the sticker, positioning it in the right spot, smoothing it down and removing the other piece of backing. I've had it on my car for about three weeks now and have washed my back window several times in that time period and the decal shows no sign of wear at all.

I am so happy with my Family Sticker, even my husband likes it and he is definitely not a "decorate the car with stickers" kinda guy. I think these stickers would be a great Christmas gift for anyone on your list, especially the person who has everything... except a stick figure representation of their family on the back of their vehicle.

You can check out all the cool options for creating your Family Sticker HERE. Why would you want to do that? So you'll know what to order when you WIN a $30 gift card from the nice folks at Family Stickers.com. Yep, I'm offering a gift card for one lucky reader. Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
