I never knew there were so many different variations of Sweet Tea. My husband travels out of town to work and he called me one night from California to tell me he ordered a glass of sweet tea at lunch and it was NOT sweet tea. He explained it as a fruit tea.  I live in Middle TN and my recipe is pretty simple. I use 4 Family Size tea bags, bring them to a boil and let it set in the pan for a few minutes to "steep". I add the liquid to a one gallon pitcher and add one and 1/4 cups of sugar. I then pour water into the pan with the tea bags and continue to pour it into the pitcher until full, stir well and serve with ice and occasionally a lemon.  SO... define sweet tea where YOU live! I'd love to try different variations!

 Multiple birth is a joyous occasion that is understood and cherished by Little Me .  Having a little one is an amazing experience. Having multiples is double or triple that experience! I personally do not have multiples but my children are very close in age. My oldest two are 11 1/2 months to the day a part so I can relate to so many of the same aspects of  being a parent to multiples. I think we laughed and cried together for a very long time there! With 4 all basically a year a part, we definitely had our share of struggles. I truly enjoyed being pregnant with all four of my children. It was an experience to say the least but one that I wouldn't change for anything in the world. Little Me understands that expecting a multiple birth is both a magical and a worrisome time in your life.  This is a huge hit in my home and it's plenty to feed a large family!  Ingredients: 3 Large Green Granny Smith Apples 2 Cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 1 Cup Butter 1 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup White Sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla 12 oz Mt. Dew 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees Peel, Core, and Slice your apples. (We sliced into eighths) Put one apple slice in each triangle of the crescent roll starting at the large end Roll up completely covering the apple.  Place in buttered pan. Bring butter, sugars and vanilla to a boil over medium heat Pour mixture over apples Pour Mt. Dew down the sides of the pan (not over top of apples) Sprinkle the top with cinnamon Bake uncovered for 45 minutes  Serve warm with vanilla ice cream ENJOY

Lately I have seen and heard lots of owls. Now normally I wouldn't pay it much attention but since my Dad passed Dec. 3rd I have started to pay close attention. My Dad loved the outdoors. Especially birds. He had a clock in his living room that had a different bird noise for every hour. He also had a pair of owls hanging in his bathroom.  The day we buried him, everyone went back to his house to talk and support one another. I live 1/4 mile or less from his place. After everyone had gone, I came on home. It was an eery 1/4 mile ride because I was in his car. I just felt like he was there. When I pulled in front of my house, I got out of the car only to hear an owl "hooting" from my back yard. It gave me chills. It was almost like I was paralyzed. All I could do was stand there and listen.
