Nellie's All-Natural Laundry Soda Review

I recently had the opportunity to review Nellie's All-Natural Laundry Soda.

I received a 50 Load Laundry Soda to base my review. Nellie's All Natural products are non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, and environmentally friendly that reduce consumption and allows you to use only what's needed. Nellie's All Natural is safe to use in all machines  and it's safe for septic systems!

The Ingredients:

Coconut Oil Based Surfactant: The natural stuff that cleans

Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash): Assists the stuff that cleans by softening the water and provides alkalinity

Sodium Metasilicate: Helps prevent the metal parts in the washer from corroding.

Fatty Alcohol Ethoxylate: More natural stuff that cleans

Sodium Chloride: Helps to hold it all together and increase flow

I loved the little "comic strip" on the back of the bag!

Now I have a bad habit of adding too much detergent to any load. Especially if it doesn't suds well. I have to feel like my clothes are clean or I will go back and wash them again. With Nellie's All Natural I didn't have too. It dissolves well in cold or hot water and rinses thoroughly. You only need to use one spoonful! Now lately my boys (big and small) have been clearing off our land. They have came in every night so dirty and muddy. I decided it was time to put Nellie to the test. I tossed the outfits of 5 muddy guys into the washer and when they came out...CLEAN!! I was impressed and one happy Mama!

Overall Impression: Two Thumbs Up! Highly Recommend

Head on over and check them out on Facebook!

Disclosure: I received the above mentioned products for review purposes only. No other monetary compensation was or will be made. All opinions are that of my own and may differ from those of your own.

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
