"Have you been a promiscuous dieter? Dabbled in every gluten-free, carb-less, points-based plan or detox known to man without seeing results? 80Bites is about to become your BFF! Our 12-week online plan will give you the tools to eat less food, less often – for good. With 80Bites, you’ll meet your weight loss goals and show your stomach some long overdue respect. Here’s to a stomach-friendly future!"

Check out the  animated rap video featuring the 80Bites mascot, Sam Stomach!

I recently had the opportunity to review 80Bites. I downloaded the app on my iPad and every time I take a bite I simply hit the "Bite" button  and it counts my bites. The goal is 80 bites per day! When I'm finished I hit "Done" It's basically a way to count your bites and lets you know when you've reached your amount of bites so you don't continue to eat.
This takes willpower if you're used to eating more than 80 Bites. You have to want to slow down! It helps with weight loss and not overdoing your stomach and digestive system.  My problem is not how much I eat, it's more in WHAT I eat and my drink choices. I'm a huge fan of carbonated drinks and that just does not help in weight loss. So cutting back on those and using the 80Bites app has definitely been a big positive in my life.

Many people have reported stopping the more expensive dieting systems and replacing it with 80Bites. There have been testimonies or lower blood sugar and less medicines being used in Diabetics as well! Overall, this is a great app to help you reach your weight loss and healthier living goals. Don't have a smart phone? You can also do the online version of 80Bites here. You can find 80 Bites on Facebook and Twitter @80Bites

  2. 80 bites? That sounds like a lot of food. I'd burst! I'm full for the days after 3!

  3. It does take willpower and I am unsure that I could do it!

  4. This looks like a fun app (especially compared to so many of the fitness/health apps out there)! It makes me wonder how many bites a day I typically take! :) I am like you though... its what I eat, not necessarily how much that gets me into trouble!

  5. 80 bites might work for some but it doesn't sound good to me. It appears to be more trouble than wort.
    Thanks for the info.

  6. I think 80 bites is a great idea. No calorie counting, etc. Much easier!

  7. It is an interesting approach I would give it a shot but I could see how it might not work for some because it also depends what you are taking 80 bites of (and perhaps how big your bites are). I do like that it is simple though.
