14 Essential Oil Set (7 Synergies and 7 Singles) Includes 100% Pure, Therapeutic Grade of: Sensual , Energy, Germ Fighter, Relax, Immune-Aid, Tranquil, Invigor-Aid, Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Orange, Lemon & Cinnamon. 10 ml each.

The use of essential oils is a hot topic right now so I was excited to get to do this review.
There are many benefits to using essential oils and I thought I would outline a few in my review.

Lavender oil’s soft scent is said to help calm the nervous system and improve sleep quality. I added a few drops to my pillows and seem to feel a bit more relaxed at bedtime and more rested when I wake up in the morning.

Tea Tree oil is an excellent natural remedy for hundreds of bacterial and fungal skin ailments including insect bites, rashes, dandruff and other minor wounds and irritations. Living in the country where ticks are a problem, Tea Tree oil is essential for me. I like to mix 2 parts almond oil, 1 part water and 2 oz of tea tree into a spray bottle and spray myself before working in the garden. Plant Therapy's Tea Tree Oil has a cleaner scent than some of the other Tea Tree oils I have used in the past so this was a much more enjoyable experience.

I was also sent a document that gave me 31 different ways to use their essential oil. One of my favorites is the facial scrub recipe:

Take 2 - 3 teaspoons raw oats and crush into smaller bits either by hand or in a grinder. Mix the dry oats with pure honey and 1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar until it forms a smooth mixture. Add more honey as needed. Then add 1 drop of Basil oil to the mixture. For problem skin you can replace the Basil Essential Oil with Tea Tree or Plant Therapy’s Acne-Fighter Synergy which has Tea Tree in it.

I am researching ways to use each essential oil in my kit. I want to explore more home remedies using essential oils as well. There are also many household cleaning and re-freshening recipes using many of the oils that I am excited to try! I am completely satisfied with my review product and recommend Plant Therapy for all of your essential oil needs.

Plant Therapy has generously agreed to give one lucky reader the chance to try this 14 Essential Oil Set valued at $54.95!

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
