Fiber Element Bamboo Sheets Review

Thank You to Fiber Element for providing me with their products free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to sleep on Bamboo? This was always a question when I started seeing Bamboo sheets online. I mean how can something so hard become something soft enough to lay your head on at night?

I mean how do you turn THIS

Bamboo

Into THIS:

Of course there is a process and it's one that I am pleased has came about!

Fiber Elements Bamboo sheets are so soft! It took a lot not to take them out of the package and put them right on my bed. I washed them first in cold water and hung them out to dry as I do most of my sheets and blankets. Once they were sun dried on the line, they were still just as soft as they were when I removed them from the packaging.

Bamboo is extremely Eco-Friendly. It is naturally anti-microbial, mold and mildew resistant, making it ideal for those like myself with sensitive skin. The natural porous construction of the inner fiber of bamboo makes it highly absorbent and breathable, allowing for great wicking and ventilation properties. The expanding/contracting nature of the fibers is what helps you stay warm in cool weather and cool in warm weather, offering great comfort while sleeping on bamboo sheets. Lately these cool Tennessee nights have been a little uncomfortable. After sleeping on my Bamboo sheets, I don't see how I ever made it through a winter without them!

Did you know?

Bamboo is a renewable resource in that many of it's species can be harvested every 1 to 5 years. It also absorbs greenhouse gases. Bamboo absorbs carbon dioxide and produces 35% more oxygen than a corresponding group of trees!

I am all about making my own cleaners including my own homemade laundry detergent. I finally found a company that tells you, the homemade laundry detergent works well for their products! I'm pleased to see others promoting a healthier lifestyle and being concerned with what comes into their homes!

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...
