Ozeri CardioTech Digital Blood Pressure Monitor Review

Thank You to Ozeri for providing me with their products free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

I was sent the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor with Voice-Guided Operation & Intelligent Hypertension Indicator to base my review. Living far away from the nearest hospital and with my husbands health condition, this has been an amazing tool to have around the house. I can keep a close eye on his blood pressure when he just isn't feeling well and not worry about running to the ER and sitting for hours just because he "thinks" it's up. The Ozeri CardioTech is very small and lightweight. I can fit it into my purse or any overnight bag easily. It came with a hardcover carrying case very similar to a watch case making it easy to pack and not worry about it getting broken while packed.

When the monitor arrived, I of course started trying it out. It fits nicely around your wrist. Once I put it on, it started talking and telling me where to position my wrist. That's very handy since you can get an inaccurate reading by not having your arm positioned correctly simply because you are not sure.

One feature that I really like is that it stores 180 readings so I can carry this to the Dr's office with us and show him the monitor so he can skim through and see what his blood pressure looks like at different times of the day and make adjustments to his medications as needed. Once I checked my blood pressure it was 132/96. After it was complete it alerted me that I may have some mild hypertension. Definitely something I will discuss with my PCP.

This is my second review with Ozeri. Check out my review of their awesome pedometer here. They truly do have great products!

Buy It! Right now you can grab the Ozeri CardioTech for only $38.95 at Sears plus free shipping! That's right at half off of their regular price. So if you have been looking for an affordable yest accurate blood pressure monitor, Ozeri has you covered!

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
