#takecharge with Duracell Powermat!

I recently had the opportunity to work with Duracell Powermat and review several of their Powermats. I received an amazing box of goodies to base my review.

Now that the Holiday season is over and everyone is enjoying their new devices, I'd like to introduce you to Duracell's Powermat products. If you're anything like me, you often forget to charge your phone at night. This happens way too often in my home. Then all of a sudden we get a crazy Tennessee storm and lose power for hours and no one has a cell phone where we can reach the outside world all because we didn't charge our battery. Thankfully Duracell now has us covered.

They have products for iPhone 5, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy SIII and other mobile devices. To use the devices for the iPhone, simply slip on the specialized case and insert the port from the backup battery. The cases come in several different stylish colors including green and pink! At full charge, the portable backup battery can can charge up to 2 devices several times before needing a recharge itself.

One of my favorite products is the GoPower Long Haul battery charger. It has enough power to charge my phone and iPad at the same time! To use, simply plug in your tablet's USB cord into the battery and charge it up! The long haul battery can also be charged on the Powermat. How awesome is that?! It stores up to 4 phone charges so I know I will always have a full battery with the Long Haul in reach!

Duracell has generously agreed to give my readers a coupon code for 20% off + FREE shipping if you order from their site Duracell Powermat. Just use coupon code TAKECHARGE at checkout!

I am completely pleased with all of my awesome new Powermat products! Now to remember to charge them as needed!

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
