Monitor Your Activity with Best Buy & Shine

I recently had the opportunity to work with Best Buy and do a review of their Misfit Shine Elegant Wearable Tracker. 


Keep track of your activity level, calories burned, how well you sleep and more with this Misfit Shine SH0AZ activity monitor that features a halo of 12 LED lights, matte metallic treatment and a jewelry-like appearance for chic style while you work out.

When you sync your Shine, you are able to view a graph of your recent activity as shown below. Simply click the icons for more detailed information.

Shine is exclusively available in additional colors at Best Buy including Silver, Black, Champagne and Topaz.

The Shine I received is a thin metal disk that slips into a wristband as you can see in the image above. The disk is no bigger than the size of a quarter. It tracks your activity throughout the day and night and even tracks how well you slept to help monitor your overall health. That is one feature that I really enjoy about the Shine. 

The Shine App displays calories, steps, distance, points, however, it is only compatible at this time with IOS 6.1.3 and above devices. So if you are an Android User you may have to hold off on this purchase for a while. 

The battery in the Shine lasts for about 4 months and is super easy to change. It uses a Standard CR2032 coin cell battery. After your workout, there is no need to remove the Shine. It is water resistant! The Shine has been a great product for me! It helps me to keep motivated. After setting my goals, I want to be sure to follow through. No one wants to look at their results and see that they are way off for their daily activity especially when you are trying to get into shape. It's definitely a device that helps keep me pushing forward!
