Monkey Balm Review

Thank You to Monkey Balm for allowing me to review their product free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

It wasn't until I was in my 30's that I started having allergies to anything but when the allergies came, they came all at once. I had to stop using my favorite laundry detergent, body wash, everything. More recently, even after using a dye free detergent, I had a persistent itchy rash on the under side of my upper arm. I tried numerous methods to relieve the rash including Benadryl cream, Hydrocortison, you name it. Nothing worked. So I reached out to Monkey Balm

Monkey Balm is great for soothing dry itchy skin instantly. It improves eczema, and extreme dry skin in 3 days, not to mention, it also works great for sunburns, and minor scrapes and burns. The main ingredient is Sea Buckthorn. This berry’s medicinal uses for healing and overall health and beauty are legendary according to a Tibetan book of healing arts called Sibu Yi Dian, that was written as far back as 13 centuries ago.

Sea buckthorn has been thoroughly researched in over 350 modern scientific studies that have found it to promote healthy skin as well as many other benefits such as cardiovascular, antioxidant, liver protection, eye health, and joint health…to name a few. Sea buckthorn contains more than 190 biologically active compounds that can nourish the body's cells to protect the skin from free radicals and actually heal damage from environmental stressors and numerous skin conditions.

As for my rash, within minutes of appplying Monkey Balm, it was no longer itching. Within 2 days, the rash was gone! Huge relief to me, because I'm still not used to living with any kind of allergy. Within the next few months as the weather starts to get cooler, my daughter will start getting a very dry itchy rash over her face. This happens every winter and has since she was born, Monkey Balm will definitely be my go to the minute this rash appears. Had I known of Monkey Balm when she was a toddler, it would have saved her a lot of scratching (and even a scar or two). It is very easy to apply with it's no mess applicator. Simply rub it on to the area you need it. If using for multiple people, I recommend using a cotton ball or q-tip.

Kalorik Steam Mop Review and Giveaway Ends 1-26-13

I recently had the pleasure of working with  Kalorik  and do a review of their  Kalorik Steam Mop . This couldn't have came at a better time. I'm in the "New Year, New You" mode right now and there are lots of things I want to change. Harsh Chemical use is one of those things. The Kalorik Steam Mop works off of ordinary tap water! No detergents, soaps or chemicals needed! You can use the Kalorik Steam Mop to clean linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, marble, carpet, sealed hardwood, parquet and more! It's also very light weight and easy to use! I spoke with Kalorik via email on a Wednesday morning, and less than 48 hours my product arrived via FedEx! Two Thumbs Up! Upon arrival, it took all of 10 minutes to have it open, put together, and ready to use. It came with 2 small screws to attach the base to the actual cleaner, throw a microfiber pad on the base and we were ready to steam! I have hardwood flooring in my entire house so floor care is not something t...

Mabel's Labels Review

Signs of April receives free products for review purposes and may sometimes be compensated for posts. Posts may also contain affiliate (marketing) links. Thank you to  Mabel's Labels  for sending out their Name Label Gift Pack for us to review.  Labeling is pretty important this day in time. Especially when you have children in school.  Being organized and having everything labeled is very important in our home and even more important for her school items.  We were able to customize our labels, as you will as well. Emma, aka The Baby Child, LOVES any and everything Unicorn so that's what we went with.  Things are often very easily picked up and never returned because something wasn't labeled with a name. She's also very notorious for leaving things at school or on the bus, so these labels will be a game changer!  The Name Label Gift Pack comes with 25 labels which is more than enough to label her school items.  We labeled her lunchbox, ben...

Never Go Down Without A Fight: One Mom's Struggle to Fight CPS

Many people don't know a whole lot about my personal life. I normally keep things quiet and just post my reviews and go on about my day. I started this blog to do coupon match ups but quickly found that I liked doing reviews and hosting the amazing giveaways. It pretty much keeps my mind occupied from the struggles I face and have faced daily the past 4 years.  Four years ago (next month) I lost custody of my then 8 year old daughter. She had gone to her Dad's for a 2 week summer visit in July of 09. I let her go a few days early simply because we weren't doing anything big here at home, however I told them that she would probably be needing a visit to the the Dr by the next morning because she had just gotten into some poison ivy and it would probably be spread by the next morning, but if they were willing to take her, then she could come early. The two weeks came and went and I didn't hear much from anyone. They had taken a trip to Panama City Beach so I didn...
